THE PILLARS OF ISLAM: ASR PRAYER

Asr is one of the five obligatory prayers in Islam. It is performed during the afternoon, after the time of Zuhr prayer and just as sunset. The Asr prayer consists of four units (cycles) and is an important opportunity for Muslims to connect with Allah for seeking His forgiveness.
